Field-Proven Hardware

The Hyperspectral Handheld Scanner (HHS™) and the geoLOGr® combine the advantages of portable single-point measurement systems and larger hyperspectral imaging systems—while minimizing their drawbacks. HII’s tools offer flexibility, ease of deployment, high data quality, and manageable data volumes, while also delivering complete drill core coverage.

This makes them ideal hyperspectral data acquisition tools for drill core logging and RC chip logging. By bridging lab-grade precision with true portability, the geoLOGr® and HHS™ give teams faster access to reliable data without costly delays or oversized datasets. The result is consistent, high-quality logs that reduce re-logging, improve geological models, and support quicker, more confident decisions across all projects.

Integrated Cloud Processing

Advancing Hyperspectral Technology with Integrity

Once samples are scanned on-site, the data are uploaded to our secure cloud platform. There, QA/QC is applied and the data are processed. Most workflows use the Lithotype™ Method, which provides the highest level of sensitivity and accuracy in the industry.

After an onboarding phase—where the data processing customized for each project—turnaround time is usually 48 hours.

Clients typically receive:

  • Compositional logs
  • Alteration maps
  • Domain logs
  • Deleterious mineral logs
  • Predictive geochemical logs

All outputs are provided both as graphics and as tabular data  for ease of use and integration.

Seamless Compatibility

Outputs from the geoLOGr® and the HHS™ are provided in PNG, EPS, and CSV formats, making them straightforward to plot using 3D deposit modeling software. If a project requires another format, we can generate it, guaranteeing that our outputs adapt to your workflow instead of forcing your team to adapt to ours. This results in faster adoption, minimal disruption, and outputs that feel like a natural extension of what you already know.

Scalable Across Teams and Sites

Our secure customer dashboard allows both field geologists and remote data teams to access outputs in real time. This ensures that everyone—whether they are scanning in a core shack or modeling in a remote office—works from the same dataset.

Scalability is built into the workflow. Teams can collaborate across multiple sites without duplication or data silos. With centralized access, project managers can monitor scanning progress, data scientists can run advanced analyses, and executives can review results. This not only speeds up communication but also reduces the risk of errors caused by inconsistent data handling.

By making hyperspectral data universally accessible across roles and locations, HII empowers organizations to scale confidently, align faster, and make better-informed decisions at every stage of the mineral exploration and mining lifecycle.

Sample Outputs in Action

Our technology is already proving itself. From compositional logs and alteration maps to predictive geochemical models, we provide outputs that are useful. Hyperspectral rock scanning systems can translate directly into faster workflows, fewer errors, and more confident decisions.

Our Technology FAQ

Traditional single-point spectrometer systems capture only one or two spectra per meter, while bulky hyperspectral imaging systems create massive datasets. Our geoLOGr® and HHS™systems collect full-coverage data  but produce reasonable data volumes.

Most projects see turnaround in 48 hours, but it really depends on the needs of the customer.

Outputs are provided in JPG, EPS, and CSV formats, which plug into commonly used plotting and modeling platforms. If you need another format, we can provide it.

Both the geoLOGr® and HHS™ are designed for rugged  deployment conditions with multiple shift changes. With training, on-site staff, locals, or consultants can operate the hardware, while data processing is handled in the cloud.

Clients typically receive compositional logs, alteration maps, deleterious mineral logs, and/or predictive geochemical  logs.

Absolutely. Our secure customer dashboard makes outputs accessible in real time to both field geologists and remote data teams, ensuring standardized datasets across locations and workflows.
