Technical Field Geoscientist – Hyperspectral Logging Specialist

Job Description:
Hyperspectral Intelligence Inc. (HII) is on a mission to modernize geology. We build high-performance hyperspectral rock analysis systems that transform how mining and exploration companies capture and act on geological data.

As a Technical Field Geoscientist, you’ll be the frontline operator and technical translator of our hyperspectral tools—working with clients across North America and globally. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in field environments, loves data-driven exploration, and wants to scale their impact with cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy HII’s geoLOGr® and HHS™ instruments at client sites across various mining lifecycle stages

• Train and support geoscientists in spectral logging workflows

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure field-collected data meets modeling requirements

• Reprocess legacy geological datasets to generate new value for clients

• Travel to exploration and mining sites (30–50% travel expected)

Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc in Geology, Earth Sciences, or Applied Geoscience

• 3–7 years of field experience (mineral exploration or mine geology preferred)

• Strong technical aptitude with geoscience software (Leapfrog, ioGAS, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills and client-facing comfort

• Curious mindset with a desire to push geological workflows forward

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with hyperspectral systems or spectrometry

• Data processing or GIS experience

• Experience working in remote or international environments
